The vision of VIABIRDS is to provide people with a convenient shopping experience. Consumers can order products from different regional food suppliers via an e-commerce platform. These food suppliers deliver the products to so-called FlyBy Stations, which form the heart of the system.
State-of-the-art information technology is used to provide consumers with a state-of-the-art online shopping experience. At the same time, the system works exclusively with regional food suppliers who in fact have no opportunity to participate in the e-commerce market.
The idea described enables small and medium-sized enterprises to sell their products online.
