Impact (Co-) Funding – How To Finance Your Social Business?

On the 27th and 28th of April 2021, the Online Impact Conference 2021 will connect social entrepreneurs, corporate social innovators and support organisations with each other.

One of the highlights is the panel on impact funding (12:30-13:10), which we as ikosom are co-hosting with the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information. I am very much looking forward to moderating this talk with Marilyn Heib froml bettervest GmbHFruzsina Nagy from Deloitte and Mikulas Kresanek, a social innovator from Slovakia.

MARILYN HEIB is a mechanical engineer and part of the Bettervest founding team. Bettervest is an online platform for impact investments. Marilyn took an early interest in technologies in the energy sector. She is involved in many social and community areas. She is the founder of the non-profit climate protection association Go For Climate and a board member of the Hamburg Climate Protection Fund.

 

MIKULAS KRESANEK is a CEO of the Social Innovators. He is a social impact business angel and a social innovation. A financial and business architect with twenty years of experience in private equity, investment and commercial banking and structured finance. He currently takes care of fundraising and strategic business development of social impact enterprises.

 

FRUZSINA NAGY is a Consultant at Deloitte Hungary’s Sustainability and Climate Change Office. Her expertise is in sustainable finance: capital market strategies, green financing instruments, and social impact bonds. Fru led her own social business in the Netherlands and has worked on the business development of a green-tech startup.
