LEARNDIGISTEAM – Digital Transformation With Steam In A Safe Environment

Published by Net4SocialImpact Support on

Modern education is critical in building human resources to meet the needs of the job market. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) is an educational approach to learning that uses science, technology, engineering, art, and math as a way to shape students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

Currently, many countries are integrating STEAM into their education systems. The learnDIGIsteam project focuses primarily on school education in the context of digital competence. Its main goal is to provide schools with digital learning tools to make relevant education easier and more accessible to students. It is designed to promote interest in science, technology and mathematics, but most importantly to improve the quality of education in these areas.

The project will also support teachers, school principals and other teaching professionals. Another task of the project is to increase the number of trainings for teachers in the field of digital learning across Europe, as well as the creation of a secure Virtual Learning Environment: learnDIGIsteam as a resource center for practical and innovative educational solutions to complement school curricula.

The main benefit of the project will be to improve participants’ pedagogical skills in teaching STEAM subjects, which can be of great value in students’ later careers. What we call DIGITAL STEAM education aims to transform theoretical knowledge into practice.

LEARNDIGISTEAM wants to put students at the center and actively engage them in the educational process by promoting discovery and experiential learning, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with the safe use of digital tools.
