OncoVR consists of a team of health care experts and students who are dedicated to supporting permanently ill children with virtual reality devices.

The OncoVR team intends to facilitate the healing process of permanently ill children with virtual reality devices which can distract children from their illness. This way, for the time of the treatment, patients can focus on a virtual reality instead of their physical or mental problems. Currently, the main target group is children suffering from different types of cancer, but OncoVR intends to involve other patient groups in the VR treatment in the long run.
