Wide Open Eyes Association
The Association “Eyes Wide Open” works to support employment and social advancement of disadvantaged youth. Promotion of tolerance, opposing racism and xenophobia, equality for women, helping people who have been affected by disabilities, the disadvantaged and the elderly.
The Association “Eyes Wide Open” was established in 2011. We act to support employment and social advancement of disadvantaged youth by participating in international projects. Through non-formal education, we learn, gain new inspiration, get to know good practices of our partners, and share our experience. In this way, we promote our country and European integration.
Along with the development of our business, we began to focus on topics related to social responsibility and sustainable development. The area of CSR that is particularly close to us is human rights. Our priorities are promoting tolerance, opposing racism and xenophobia, equality for women, helping people who have been affected by disabilities, the disadvantaged and the elderly. We also act to care for the environment, organize charity campaigns for the elderly from nursing homes, and promote a healthy lifestyle. We are involved in the social life of our region, we support and participate in local initiatives organized by non-governmental and local government organizations. We permanently cooperate with the “Dobra Chata” Complex of Care and Educational Institutions. Our activities are also directed to local business by promoting employee volunteering and encouraging cooperation with non-governmental organizations.
